Hi! I’m Greg.

What I’m About

I am first and foremost unapologetically enthusiastic about science and showing how cool it is. I also love running, hiking, cooking, and spending time with my dog, Lefty, and my wife, Ariel.

Background in Chemistry

I received my BS in Chemistry from Binghamton University in 2013, and my MS in Chemistry from Cornell University in 2018. I was fortunate to TA for both lectures and labs in both general and organic chemistry during my education, while also conducting research in carbohydrate chemistry, mechanistic studies in organocatalysis, and electro-organic synthesis. Between Binghamton and Ithaca I also worked as a chemist with The United States Army Corps of Engineers in Baltimore.

My first love in chemistry has always been teaching. I have been tutoring chemistry since 2009 when I would help fellow students in AP chemistry. I started tutoring on a more formal basis during my Sophomore year at Binghamton University in 2011 and I never gave it up.

I’m excited to help you with your chemistry class, but I’m also happy to offer any insight I can to help you on your journey to where you want to be!
